CDP Nepal thinks that the best way to eliminate poverty from community is by making the community people capable enough to self sustain. To do say CDP constantly does the skill development trainings for under privileged community specially focusing more on Women and Disabled.
Skills development is the process of identifying your skill gaps than developing and honoring these skills. It is important because your skills determine your ability to execute your plans with success.
Imagine a carpenter trying to build a house. He has the raw materials but lacks good wood working tools. He has, however, a flimsy hammer and a small screwdriver. Without the right tools like a hand saw, he can’t turn these raw materials into house.
So here the tools are his skills and without good skills its hard for anyone to get the perfect work out. So we constantly see the skills of under privileged people and conduct the skill development training in basis of that.
